Your progress
What the quote page keeps in your browser if you leave it halfway, for how long and how to start over.
If you leave the quote page halfway, you can come back and carry on. What is kept stays in your browser, on this device. At the step of your idea, the page sends your idea and your answers to Duxels to prepare the summary (without your contact details); your request reaches Duxels only when you press Send request.
What is kept and for how long
- Your choices, seven days. The area and the type of project, your answers from step 2 and the step you were on (never past step 3). The seven days count from the last time you used the page.
- The text of your idea, until you close the tab. Your idea, the answers to the questions and the summary stay if you reload the page, but are deleted when you close the tab. If you close the tab, you write your idea again.
- Your contact details, nowhere. Your name, email, phone and company are not kept: if you reload the page, you type them again.
When you come back
If there is something to pick up, the page says "We picked up where you left off".
Start over
While you have something in progress, you see the Start over button. It asks "Delete your progress and start over?". Yes, delete erases everything that was kept; Keep going does nothing.
What was kept is also deleted when you send your request.
Good to know
- Each browser and each device keeps its own: if you start on your phone, you will not find it on your computer.
- If you use your browser's private mode or block site data, the page works, but may keep nothing.
- Each address keeps its own. If you change language with the ES and EN buttons in the footer, you move to the other address (quote.sales.duxels.com or cotiza.ventas.duxels.com) and what you had is not there. Pick the language before you start.
